The Suralink integration lets you import engagement documents directly into DataSnipper for Excel without leaving Excel. It streamlines document request, retrieval, and management within a single workflow.
Prerequisites
DataSnipper v6.1 or later
User Management enabled in your organisation's admin settings
Suralink account
For admins: to enable this integration, you need to set up an API key in the DataSnipper Dashboard. Contact your DataSnipper Customer Success Manager for access to the dashboard and API key configuration steps.
Note: Users must log into DataSnipper using the same email address as their Suralink account. This is how the integration authenticates access.
Step-by-step guide
In your Excel workbook, click the Import icon on the DataSnipper ribbon and select the From Suralink option.
The pop-up will log you into Suralink using your DataSnipper User Management email. Once logged in, all your Suralink engagements are listed.
You do not need to re-login while you remain signed into DataSnipper with User Management.
Select the engagements you want to import and click Import.
The documents are now imported and available in the Document Viewer for your audit work.
File storage note: Ensure 'Embed PDF' is toggled on in your workbook settings so that imported files are stored within the workbook.
