Video walkthrough

What the video covers

The walkthrough shows running Smart Search across meeting minutes for the relevant audit terms, extracting the key points with Text Snip, and adding audit implications, with each summary traceable back to its source for the reviewer.

Prerequisites

  • The client's minutes of meeting

Start the procedure

1. Open your Excel workbook and make sure the specific audit search terms are documented.

2. Click the cell with your search terms and use Smart Search to find all occurrences of each term.

3. Use Text Snip to extract the specific elements of the minutes you want to summarise.

4. Once you have extracted all the required information, add your audit implications.

5. The reviewer can then click into the snipped cells and see exactly where each summary was extracted from.

Hold the Ctrl key to make multiple text snips into the same cell, which helps you summarise the minutes you are reviewing more concisely.

Sharing the file

You can exclude all documents before saving the workbook in your audit file by using the include/exclude documents toggle. You can also delete specific documents if needed.
