Learn how to flow structured financial data from Validis directly into DataSnipper using the Validis x DataSnipper Financial Statement Document Matching Template.

Log into your Validis account. Navigate to the appropriate financial period and download the required financial report in Excel format.

Open the downloaded Excel file. Confirm you can see the tab with the financial data you will use for Document Matching.

In Excel, click the DataSnipper tab in the ribbon, then click Document Matching.

Open the Validis x DataSnipper Financial Statement Document Matching Template. A new tab is automatically added to your workbook with the template preloaded.

Highlight the relevant sections in the Validis Financial Snapshot tab. Copy and paste the data into the corresponding areas in the Document Matching template tab, ensuring each field lines up correctly.

Click Match All Rows. DataSnipper matches your Excel data against the figures in the annual report PDF already loaded in the tool.

1. Log into your Validis account. Navigate to the appropriate financial period and download the required financial report in Excel format.

3. In Excel, click the DataSnipper tab in the ribbon, then click Document Matching.

5. Highlight the relevant sections in the Validis Financial Snapshot tab. Copy and paste the data into the corresponding areas in the Document Matching template tab, ensuring each field lines up correctly.
6. Click Match All Rows. DataSnipper matches your Excel data against the figures in the annual report PDF already loaded in the tool.

Your financial data from Validis is now matched against your annual report, giving you a verified, auditable output within DataSnipper.
