Company Templates let you share a saved Document Matching template with everyone in your organization. After publishing, the template appears in the Company Templates tab inside Document Matching for all users on the same dashboard.
Company Templates are available on DataSnipper Enterprise (V5, V6.1, V25, V26).
Prerequisites
DataSnipper Enterprise package.
You have the Owner role on your company DataSnipper Dashboard. Contact your Customer Success Manager to request the role.
At least one template saved in My Templates. To save a template, see How to automate your test with Document Matching.
Step 1: Download the template file
Open Document Matching and go to the My Templates tab.
Right-click the template you want to publish.
Click Download template.
In your computer's Documents folder, open the DataSnipper folder, then the Templates subfolder. Confirm the .XML file is there.
Step 2: Publish through the Dashboard
Go to dashboard.datasnipper.com and sign in.
Click the Templates tab in the upper ribbon.
Click Add Template.
Choose the .XML file from your Templates folder.
Fill in the template name, description, and target documents.
To review before publishing: click Save, then download the draft from the Templates Manager page in the Dashboard.
When ready, click Save and Publish. The template is published and visible to all users on your Dashboard.
After publishing
Restart Excel so the new template appears under the Company Templates tab in Document Matching. Any user on your Dashboard with DataSnipper installed and connected to the same license can now use the template.
Managing published templates
Use the Templates Manager page in the Dashboard to:
Edit template metadata (name, description, target documents).
Download the .XML for archival or version control.
Remove templates that are no longer in use.
